Trip Down Memory Lane

Okay, I know it has been too long since my last post. But school is so time consuming. It is seven days a week of non-stop reading and analyzing. Remember in my last post that I said I was looking forward to school, but I didn't think the excitment would last that long, well I WAS RIGHT! Anyways, I thought this was a great idea to see how many of you actually read my blog. I would love to hear from each of you. I thoroughly enjoy trips down memory lane!

Some blog games have gotten old, but I thought this would be fun.

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember you sent that sweetest card to me and I received it on the day of my bridal shower. You spent a lot of time writing it and it made me cry. That was a whopping 3.5 months ago!

I have too many memories of you to list...but they are all good! I remember cleaning our pension together and feeling so happy that someone cared as much as me :) I remember you doing my hair and letting me borrow your clothes since I was definitely an old and worn out hermana by then. And I remember all the hard work we did to spread el evangelio. I miss you and love you so much!

Tamara this one goes out to you hun. We have a plethra of memories together, but lets go back way back to a time much simpler, before mortgages, bills and such. I had just returned "home" it felt like home because my family was there but at the same time it wasn't because it wasn't my house that nor my state that I had grown up in. Yes, it was freezing Minnesota as my family had moved yet again. I was feeling well like the nerd at the homecoming dance a little out of place and alone. We really hadn't been apart since we had meet back in September of that year. I remember coming out to the garage in my awesome black leather jacket, due to the freezing factor and what did I see before my eyes, yes my Tami. I could believe it but you had come all that way to see me and hang out with my family for a couple days. I don't remember well what we did. I think we went to the zoo one day. But I must say you are the "the queen" of the suprise. I love you and love that you suprised a lonely boy on that cold day.

Brett is so sweet...My hubby is so not the romantic type! You guys are both so awesome!

Thank you for your sweet words on my blog :) You have such a kind, thoughtful spirit that is very comforting. I am feeling so much better!

I wish I had more memories of us. I do have fun Hansen Family reunion memories that will always be a special part of me :)

oh Tami. when i was serving in Ecuador i got your wedding letter with pictures and i was so excited for you because i love you and Brett both, but i was also bummed because i wanted to be roommates when i got home from Ecuador and i felt like you were the only person i could live with. anyway, i remember our summer term at Ricks and how we had the weirdest, nerdiest roommates and we just stayed in our room the whole time so that we'd never have to hang out with them (except for Melanie--did you know she served in Singapore?). anyway, and i remember when you made the decision to fly down and surprise Brett (not the same surprise he was talking about) and how excited we were. man, those were good times.

hey, one more thing. i also remember when we went and saw your dad in the house you lived in when you were little and how emotional he was and how happy he was to see you.

Hill, you were thinking of the same surprise as Brett, he just has a faulty memory. I really wish you had a blog, I miss you terribly, and can't believe how long it has been since I have seen you. I think you should make a trip to Seattle! Thank you for all the lovely memories. I love you.

I think out of everyone you know, I am the one with the most memories of you, which one to pick though....? Our longs summer days playing sardines is a fun one! Freaking out in the shark infested water in Kauai was fun. Or our second semester at Ricks when everyone was gone for the weekend and we changed around the whole apartment so we could share a room and we started reading the Old Testament that night with the intent on finishing, but I don't think we picked it up again:) I love you and am excited for many more memories to come!
