Six Weeks

I love my babies. I can't get over how beautiful and amazing they are. I don't get much accomplished during the day, but I am a great producer of food for my babies. We don't get much sleep, but that doesn't matter because it just gives us more time to enjoy Carter and Gavin. I never realized how much time they would take. It is a miracle that I found a minute to make this post.

They are getting so big. They will be six weeks tomorrow. At their last weight check they were 7 1/2 lbs and 20 1/4 inches long. Their weight is in the 25th percentile and height is in the 50th percentile. I can't believe how much they have changed in six weeks.

Their little necks are so strong they can lift their heads 90 degrees. They love to stare at all of their admirers.

this is such an exciting time in life. don't worry, you can sleep when they're grown! not sleeping gets easier, too. i'm glad that you are able to nurse easily---it was such a struggle for me. congrats on making it through your first 6 weeks post-partum.

Sleep is totally over-rated :) I can't believe they are already 6 weeks old! Grandpa Ron was very proud and showed us more pics from when he was there visiting. Isn't it wonderful to spend time with them...I always feel like they are a little piece of heaven on earth. Keep enjoying them...they don't stay little for very long!

Love ya!

You're viewing it exactly as you should... enjoy each loving, painful, sleepless, happy, giddy, worry-filled moment...they pass all to quickly. Beautiful boys well done mommy and daddy...

I just want to jump for joy for you guys! It's just so exciting. I was lucky to be able to nurse Kacey until she was 13 months.
They grow so fast. When Kacey was a newborn a friend's mom told me to enjoy every single moment of her infancy because it is gone in a flash. Kacey turned 6 last month. I totally get it now.
I love you so much.
