The suspense is over!

Well we had our ultrasound. The greatest news is that the babies are doing great, and . . . we are having a boy and a girl. The girl is not for sure, so we will have to wait for the next ultrasound to be 100% sure. The boy is 8 ounces, 8 inches and the girl is 7 ounces 8 inches. I know, so exciting! Now we can't escape the question about names. We are seriously at a loss. So please give us some ideas.

More news . . . I have felt so much movement the last couple of days. It is like nothing I have ever experienced. I LOVE BEING PREGNANT! We can't wait to meet our babies.

My advice about names... write a few down that touch you. Then when you are touching your babies in your arms... they will tell you their names.

One of Grandpas sisters names was Veda I am in love with that name! I think it is neat to use a family name or a name that reminds you of something. I named Katherine "Katie" from a charecter from a book and a best friend growing up, and Taylor is a family name and my husbands middle name. Have fun choosing theres lots out there. And feeling your babys move.... how precious I miss that.

I thought Skylar was your boy name? A change of mind over the years?

Here are a few off the top of my head.

I like Piper for a boy. Samuel. I also like Sylas.

I like Elizabeth for a girl. I think a little girl named Lizzie is just about the cutest thing ever.

I like Rowan or Elijah for either a boy or a girl.

Isabelle or Isabella is cute.

Sophia. August. Evelyn. Ava.

How exciting for you! Why don't you combine some names from each of the grandma's and each of the grandpa's. We have a Sharleen and Kellie so we decided if we ever have a girl it will have the middle name of Sharquelle Shar KEL. I am still contemplating it but it is a great way to carry on family names!!

I'm so happy for you guys! I love the name Talmadge for a boy (I would call him Tal). For a girl I really like Willow. My siblings always called me Willow when I was younger because I was the shortest, but if you can get images of the dwarf wizard from the movie out of your head it's a beautiful name!

Wow Tami! I am so excited for you both. It couldn't be more perfect! Now you don't have to worry about not having a boy or a girl in the future, which is my predicament. But healthy babies to love is always the best and most important. Congrats again.

A boy & a girl...utterly perfect! If I were to have twins (which I'm not wishing upon myself) that is what I would hope for :) What great pals they will be, just like you and your sister!

Feeling your baby (or babies :) is one of the most amazing things in a woman's life (at least up until the time you actually get to hold them, and then it holds a close 2nd)! I'm so excited for you! Good luck on names...that's always tough (I could never fully name them until after I held them).
